Morgan Stanley is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer, Vice President, to join their Cyber Security Engineering team in Bengaluru, India. This role involves hands-on participation in the security design, proof-of-concept testing, certification, and onboarding of IoT/OT security solutions, specifically mentioning Armis Centrix. You will ensure vendors and contractors meet service level agreements (SLAs) and delivery targets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and present integrated solutions to a diverse audience, including senior management and security teams.
Key responsibilities include creating network diagrams and documentation for proposed solutions, developing new operational procedures and runbooks, and identifying opportunities for tool development and automation of managed products. You will be involved in diagnosing and troubleshooting systems, networks, and applications, and will collaborate with project managers and members of various IT organizations including enterprise networking, enterprise computing, end-user computing, and tech risk.
This position requires providing expert-level support to junior operations teams on IoT/OT security solutions and governing vendors to ensure world-class service delivery. An on-call shift is a requirement for this role.
What you'll bring:
- Overall 10+ years of total professional experience, with at least 6 years of relevant experience in IoT/OT security.
- Hands-on experience with IoT/OT security solutions such as Armis Centrix, Forescout, Darktrace, or Claroty.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux administration and containers.
- Experience with Network Access Control (NAC) technologies, particularly 802.1x and MAC Authentication Bypass (MAB), including Cisco ISE or similar solutions.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting using languages like Python, Ansible, or third-party vendor APIs.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLANs, MPLS, BGP, and proxying.
- Experience deploying observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
- Experience in large-scale network security design and documentation.
- Familiarity with threat detection and mitigation processes for OT/IoT products.
- Proven experience supporting the delivery of high-profile projects under strict deadlines.
