Senior .Net Engineer

Job Summary

Eurofins is seeking a Senior .Net Engineer for their Bengaluru office. This role involves developing end-to-end web applications using the Microsoft stack, with a focus on .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Core, and Angular. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud technologies like Azure, databases, and microservices architecture. Responsibilities include implementing customer feedback, advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, application monitoring, and supporting deployments. Responsibilities

• Implementing customer feedback (changes/enhancements).
• Understanding expectations clearly, designing, and building solutions.
• Advanced Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Investigating and resolving complex issues, analyzing logs, application behavior, and system performance to identify root causes. Handling incidents involving application crashes, data inconsistencies, or integration failures.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Permanent Fixes: Conducting detailed RCA for recurring or high-impact issues and collaborating with development teams to implement long-term fixes or enhancements.
• Application Monitoring & Performance Tuning: Proactively detecting anomalies using monitoring tools (e.g., App Insights, Grafana, Kibana) and optimizing application performance and scalability.
• Deployment & Release Support: Supporting production deployments, hotfixes, and rollback procedures, and validating post-deployment stability and performance.
• Compliance & Validation: Ensuring support activities align with GxP and other applicable regulatory requirements, and maintaining audit trails and documentation for all changes and incidents.
• Collaboration & Communication: Working closely with DevOps, QA, and product teams to resolve issues and communicating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Grooming Next Level: Guiding and grooming junior members to independently handle product improvement and customer feedback.
• Knowledge Management: Documenting solutions, workarounds, and known issues in a knowledge base and providing guidance and training to L1/L2 teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• 1 to 4 years of experience developing end-to-end web applications using the Microsoft stack.
• Proficiency in .NET Core (6/7/8), C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, WebAPI, and Postman.
• Strong working knowledge of Angular 7 or above, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Decent working knowledge of Cosmos DB, Elastic Search, Redis, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Architecture, Microservices, and MSSQL/SQL.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with UI testing and Unit Testing (MS Test/Jasmine/MOQ/NUnit/Karma).
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and ability to solve technical problems.
• Working knowledge of code reviews, including raising, resolving comments, and closing reviews.
• Awareness of programming best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, performance-related issues, and write efficient code and queries.
• Experience in guiding and mentoring junior team members is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Authentication and Authorization (including OAuth2, OpenIDC) is highly desired (5+ years implied for strong proficiency).
• Experience working on at least one Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) project.
• Experience working in an AGILE methodology (preferably SCRUM).
