Senior .NET Backend Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced .NET Backend Developer to architect and build scalable, enterprise-grade Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance platforms for our US clients. This role is based in New Delhi with opportunities for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance backend applications using C#, .NET 8+, and ASP.NET Core.
• Build robust REST APIs, microservices, and seamless third-party integrations.
• Create complex business rules, workflows, rating engines, and transaction processing systems tailored for the US insurance market.
• Design and optimize relational databases (SQL Server / PostgreSQL) for high-throughput applications.
• Implement enterprise-level security features including authentication, authorization, data encryption, and audit logging.
• Leverage event-driven architecture, messaging queues, and asynchronous processing patterns.
• Own the full software development lifecycle: coding, debugging, performance tuning, unit/integration testing, and CI/CD deployment pipelines using Azure, Docker, Git.

Tech Stack & Skills:

Required: Expert proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core Web API, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server or PostgreSQL, Microservices architecture, Azure cloud services, Redis caching, multithreading, and asynchronous programming. Deep understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns (Factory, Repository, etc.), and Clean Architecture.

Preferred: Proven experience with configurable workflow engines, business rules management systems, or financial transaction platforms. Familiarity with US P&C insurance standards such as ACORD is a significant plus.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a hands-on individual contributor who enjoys solving complex technical challenges independently. This role is strictly NOT suitable for frontend developers or team leads without backend coding experience. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated track records of designing, building, and deploying production-grade applications from scratch.
