About the Role
As a Machine Learning Operations Engineer at Onclusive, you will be instrumental in deploying, scaling, and optimizing our backend algorithms, data ingestion pipelines, machine learning services, and data platforms. Your expertise will be crucial for analyzing vast amounts of text and analytics data, applying Big Data analytics to solve challenging marketing problems using Onclusive's extensive online content data. ML Ops Engineers are vital to Onclusive's success.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and construct scalable machine learning services and data platforms.
- Employ benchmarks, metrics, and monitoring to measure and enhance service performance.
- Manage systems currently processing millions of jobs daily.
- Research, design, implement, and validate advanced algorithms for analyzing diverse data sources to achieve specific outcomes.
- Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to implement ML, AI, and NLP techniques for article analysis and attribution.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize inference services on auto-scaling fleets equipped with GPUs and specialized inference hardware.
Who You Are
- Possess a degree (BS, MS, or Ph.D.) in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by practical, hands-on experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Kubernetes and/or Terraform.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python, with a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Solid knowledge of containerization technologies, with Docker being preferable.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for AWS, with a preference for Terraform.
- Familiarity with Version Control Systems (VCS), particularly Git and GitHub, along with experience in CI/CD, preferably GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of release management, including rigorous testing, validation, and quality assurance protocols.
- Good comprehension of ML principles.
- Data Engineering experience (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Meltano) is highly desirable.
- Exposure to deep learning tech stacks such as Torch/TensorFlow, and Transformers.
