Join DHL Supply Chain, a vital part of everyday life, as a Senior MLOps Engineer (m/f/x) in our dynamic team. This full-time, permanent position is based in EMEA. We are seeking an experienced MLOps Engineer to oversee the successful productization and large-scale deployment of machine learning algorithms developed by our data scientists. You will be instrumental in guiding the transition from exploratory data analytics to robust ML pipelines, utilizing advanced technologies such as Kubeflow and Kubernetes. Your expertise will drive the modernization of our data science platform and foster strong collaborations with stakeholders across DHL.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support data scientists in transitioning ML models to production using Kubeflow Pipelines and Apigee.
- Refactor Python code for enhanced maintainability and scalability in production environments.
- Conduct performance testing and implement best practices for logging and monitoring.
- Apply best practices for reusable and observable Kubeflow components.
- Collaborate with data engineers and AI engineers on model deployment.
- Develop tools and checklists to automate unit testing and security validation for ML workflows.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proficiency in Python programming and ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks (e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Ansible, Terraform).
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes across various platforms (on-prem, Azure, GCP) and Docker image building.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., Locust) and monitoring solutions (e.g., OpenSearch).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to debugging.
- A degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
