Senior MLOps Engineer - Gurugram

Join Mastercard's Horizontal Data Science Enablement Team within SSO Data Science in Gurugram as a Senior MLOps Engineer. This role is instrumental in tackling MLOps challenges, overseeing the organization-wide Databricks platform, developing robust CI/CD and automation pipelines, and championing best practices.

About the Role:

• Administer, configure, and maintain Databricks clusters and workspaces.
• Monitor Databricks cluster workloads and costs, proactively alerting stakeholders to ensure optimal cluster health.
• Implement and manage security protocols, including access controls and data encryption, to comply with Mastercard's stringent security standards.
• Facilitate the seamless integration of diverse data sources into Databricks, ensuring data flow and consistency.
• Identify and resolve issues within the Databricks infrastructure, providing timely support to users and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of MLOps solutions, focusing on areas such as model monitoring, feature catalog/store management, model lineage maintenance, and CI/CD pipelines for effective model lifecycle management from development to production.
• Maintain live services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.

Required Experience:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with Databricks, including managing roles and resources.
• Proficiency with MLOps solutions such as MLFlow.
• Experience in data analysis, data observability, data ingestion, and data integration.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or general systems engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with industry-standard CI/CD tools including Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, and Chef.
• Strong programming skills in Python or other languages like Java and C++, along with a solid understanding of SQL fundamentals.
• A systematic approach to problem-solving and excellent communication skills.
• Experience operating in a 24x7 environment across global time zones is essential.

Desirable Qualifications:

• SQL tuning experience.
• Strong automation experience.
