Senior Manager

Zenoti is seeking a Senior Manager, UX to lead user-centric design initiatives for its innovative software solutions in the beauty and wellness sector. This role involves developing intuitive user interfaces, creating high-quality mockups, and producing detailed documentation including sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes. The Senior Manager, UX will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, particularly development, to ensure seamless translation of designs into functional web pages. Key responsibilities include conducting usability studies, researching best practices, and driving the release of new features with a focus on customer feedback and product adoption. The ideal candidate will act as the advocate for end-users throughout the entire product lifecycle, contributing to the continuous improvement and success of Zenoti's platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop user-centric designs for Zenoti components across various project teams.
• Lead interaction design efforts, ensuring adherence to established standards and guidelines.
• Create user interface designs that are simple, relevant, and visually compelling.
• Produce high-quality mockups to support concept and design briefs.
• Undertake comprehensive documentation, including sitemaps, wireframes, task flows, interaction designs, use cases, flow charts, and navigation models.
• Develop prototypes for navigation models and interaction designs for demonstration and usability testing.
• Stay involved in the design process from conception to final mockups, identifying all edge cases.
• Effectively communicate conceptual ideas to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate closely with Development teams to ensure accurate implementation of mockups.
• Create briefs for usability studies and provide necessary information and prototypes.
• Research best practices and assess feasibility for new project ideas.
• Release new features monthly, gathering customer feedback to refine designs and ensure adoption.
• Maintain a high standard of quality and pride in all work produced.
• Act as the end-user and customer advocate throughout the entire product cycle.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience as a UX designer for web and mobile applications.
• Up-to-date knowledge of emerging design trends and standards.
• Thorough understanding of usability principles and design standards.
• Significant experience with software usability methodologies, including performing and overseeing usability tests, cognitive walkthroughs, heuristics evaluations, surveys, interviews, competitive analyses, task and needs analyses, user profiling, and other related techniques.
• Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in the field, evidenced by design samples and case studies provided during the interview process.
