Senior Manager

Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Information Security & Compliance serves as a trusted advisor between Salesforce Security and our customers/prospects. This role ensures customer success in internal compliance and vendor-management efforts related to Salesforce products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Security Partnership: Develop deep understanding of business objectives, risk posture, and strategic challenges for clients.
• Customer Assurance & Trust: Act as the primary security representative leading responses to assessments, questionnaires, and due diligence requests.
• Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Build trust through executive-level security discussions with key decision-makers.
• SME on Security Capabilities: Articulate Salesforce's trust posture regarding privacy, compliance, reliability, and architecture.
• Cross-Functional Advocacy: Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Legal, Privacy, and Security teams to ensure accurate customer-facing messaging.
• Risk & Incident Response: Analyze vulnerability reports (e.g., penetration tests) and act as the escalation point during security incidents.
• Contractual Advisory: Collaborate with legal/compliance teams on specific regulatory requirements.
• Tender Support: Facilitate technical responses for public sector tenders, focusing on GeM protocols and MeitY SaaS empanelment criteria in India.
