Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Understand customer needs and innovate using cutting-edge Machine Learning techniques to develop data-driven solutions.
• Address challenging NLP problems, including voice agents, agentic applications, text classification, entity extraction, and summarization, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and enhance AI solutions within our products and services.
• Optimize existing machine learning models for superior performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Implement and evaluate reasoning, planning, and memory modules for AI agents.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable production NLP pipelines.
• Build post-deployment monitoring and continual learning capabilities.
• Propose and implement suitable evaluation metrics and establish performance benchmarks.
• Stay current with state-of-the-art techniques in Machine Learning and NLP, sharing knowledge with colleagues.
• Demonstrate a strong desire to learn, implement, and apply emerging model architectures (e.g., LLMs), inference optimizations, and distributed training methods using open-source models.

Qualifications:

• B.Tech/M.Tech/PhD in Computer Science or a related mathematical field from a tier-1 engineering institute, with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience in Machine Learning and NLP.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch, with experience using libraries such as Transformers and LangChain/LangGraph.
• Extensive practical experience in NLP tasks including text classification, entity tagging, information retrieval, question-answering, natural language generation, and clustering.
• Hands-on experience with Transformer-based Language Models (e.g., BERT, Llama, Qwen, Gemma, DeepSeek).
• Deep understanding of LLM training concepts, model inference optimizations, and GPU utilization.
• Experience with deploying ML and Deep Learning models using technologies like REST APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly with data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and their machine learning services is a plus.
• Knowledge of multimodal models is advantageous.
• Experience with real-time streaming tools and architectures like Kafka and Pub/Sub is a plus.

• Previous research experience and published papers in NLP or Machine Learning.
• Contributions to AI side projects or open-source GitHub repositories.
