Senior Lead

About the Role

Join us as we shape the future of AI at AMD. In this role, you will serve as a technical architect and senior owner for our quality and DevOps platform supporting GPU-accelerated ML libraries used in AI, LLMs, and deep learning applications.

Your Responsibilities

• Test Architecture: Define end-to-end test strategies using GoogleTest (gtest) and custom harnesses for scalable C++ libraries across unit, integration, performance, and E2E dimensions.
• CI/CD Platform Ownership: Architect multi-stage pipelines on GitHub Actions/Jenkins to ensure reliability in builds, testing, and deployments at scale.
• Quality Metrics & Observability: Build platforms for visualizing quality metrics, defining SLAs, anomaly detection, and engineering health dashboards.
• ETL Data Architecture: Design scalable pipelines for ingesting CI/test artifacts with schema evolution capabilities.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the technical bridge between developers, platform teams, and program management to drive alignment on quality gates.
• Innovation: Introduce agentic AI tools for CI orchestration and test generation.

Your Qualifications

We seek a principal-level engineer with 15+ years of experience in DevOps, Quality Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering. You must have deep systems thinking expertise in C++ development (expert level), SDET leadership, CI/CD system architecture (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), and ETL/data pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with GPU stacks like ROCm/CUDA/HIP or pre-silicon simulation environments.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus).
