Senior Lead Engineer – Full Stack

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Lead / Staff Engineer who acts as a squad architect and systems thinker, owning complex technical problems end-to-end. This role is designed for an individual contributor leading through technical depth, architectural judgement, and operational ownership to design reliable systems while mentoring engineers.

What you'll do:

• Technical Execution: Design production-grade full-stack systems using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Java. Own delivery of high-impact features with a focus on code quality.
• Design & Architecture: Make architecture decisions for complex systems via ADRs. Shape subsystems aligned with long-term strategy. Evaluate trade-offs across performance, security, and cost. Experience with Kafka/event-driven architectures is a plus.
• System Ownership: Own production systems end-to-end (reliability, scalability). Optimize application performance using Docker/Kubernetes in AWS/GCP environments. Ensure resilience and observability.
• Delivery Leadership: Contribute to planning, identify cross-team dependencies, and improve predictability with delivery leads.
• Mentorship: Coach engineers through design reviews and technical discussions to raise the bar across squads.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience on complex production systems.
• Strong hands-on skills in React, JS/TS, Node.js, Java.
• AWS/GCP cloud-native services experience.
• Mastery of CI/CD principles and containerization (Docker/K8s).
• Ability to communicate technical direction clearly.

Nice to have: Kafka/streaming platforms exposure, platform engineering background.
