Senior Layout Engineer

About the Role

Nexperia seeks a Senior Layout Engineer to join the Power and Signal Conversion Business Group. This team develops world-class analog and mixed signal ICs, fostering an entrepreneurial environment with rapid global growth.

What You Will Do:

• Design layouts for transistor-level analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks and sub-systems (e.g., amplifiers, data converters, LDOs).
• Manage project layout design queues and timelines across the business group.
• Mentor junior engineers and supervise contract resources.
• Create detailed documentation and collaborate with process, packaging, and IP leaders to solve customer problems.
• Develop innovative designs for patents or trade secrets and actively contribute to product definitions.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of Analog/Mixed Signal Layout Design Experience using Virtuoso, Virtuoso-XL, Calibre, and Assura.
• Experience with Pcell development, SKILL programming, and digital place-and-route is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor processes and packages.
• Able to mentor teams, manage assignments effectively, and drive results in a collaborative environment.
