Position: Senior Laravel Developer – AI & Agentic Development

About the Role:

SANECRAFT PVT LTD is seeking an experienced Senior Laravel Developer with strong backend engineering skills and hands-on experience using modern AI-powered development tools. We build scalable, enterprise-grade SaaS applications and actively use advanced coding assistants to improve code quality.

Your Mission:

You will effectively leverage AI coding agents while ensuring code accuracy, security, performance, scalability, and production reliability. Hands-on experience with GitHub PR workflows is mandatory. You should be comfortable using tools like Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot for feature development, debugging, refactoring, and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Laravel, PHP, MySQL, and REST APIs.
• Use AI tools (Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) for feature development, debugging, refactoring, and testing.
• Apply agentic AI workflows, prompt engineering, and context engineering for codebase analysis, implementation planning, and automation.
• Optimize database queries, APIs, Redis caching, background jobs, and application performance (e.g., resolving N+1 queries, memory issues).
• Manage GitHub Pull Requests, including branching, commits, code reviews, merging, and conflict resolution. Use Graphite or similar AI-powered PR review tools.
• Review and validate AI-generated code through appropriate testing and technical verification.
• Understand complete application workflows to assess change impact across modules.

Required Skills:

• 4–5 years of professional experience in Laravel and PHP development.
• Strong knowledge of Laravel, PHP, MVC, REST APIs, Eloquent ORM, and MySQL.
• Practical experience with at least one AI coding tool: Cursor, OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
• Expertise in Git and GitHub PR workflows, including code reviews and resolving feedback.
• Familiarity with MySQL optimization, indexing, transactions, Redis, caching, and Laravel queues.
• Solid understanding of secure coding, error handling, debugging, and performance tuning.
