Senior JavaScript Engineer

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior JavaScript Engineer for one of our key clients on a contractual basis. The location is remote (work from anywhere), offering competitive compensation based on experience and skills.

Role Overview

You will develop and maintain web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries. This work is critical to delivering scalable, high-performance solutions that support the client's platform operations globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using JavaScript (ES6+), React, and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy user-facing features for diverse international audiences.
• Debug, optimize, and refactor existing codebases to improve performance and maintainability within remote environments.
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code following industry best practices and standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure consistency and reliability across the platform.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) with hands-on experience in frontend development for global platforms.
• Experience working with React.js or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong understanding of state management, component-based architecture, and virtual DOM optimization.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming patterns, and frontend tooling (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment with strong problem-solving skills suited for distributed teams.
