NewVision Softcom & Consultancy Pvt. Ltd is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Java Engineer with over 5 years of experience in developing highly available enterprise web applications. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy highly available and scalable enterprise web applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs.
• Utilize the Spring stack, including Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
• Work with build tools such as Maven and Gradle, and containerization technologies like Docker.
• Implement unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to drive new features from inception to production.
• Deliver optimized, high-performance code for a distributed container-based architecture.
• Create and maintain quality software adhering to Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Provide technical leadership and contribute to architectural decision-making.
• Participate in resolving production issues and leading efforts toward solutions.
• Contribute to growing a performant and reliable production environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Java and building REST APIs.
• Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data.
• Professional knowledge of Maven/Gradle and Docker.
• Experience with JUnit and Mockito.
• Strong English communication skills.

Desirable Experience:

• Working with federated identity technologies (SSO, OpenID, SAML, etc.).
• Experience with AWS stack.
