About the Role
Citi's Equities Technology organization is seeking a seasoned Development Engineer to lead automation frameworks within the Electronic Trading team. This pivotal role involves driving architecture design for high-performance trading applications in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Architecture: Lead development of scalable test automation using Java, Python, and Cucumber (BDD).
- Strategic Leadership: Define automation strategies aligned with business goals to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Agile & CI/CD: Champion Agile methodologies and integrate quality engineering into containerized CI/CD pipelines using Docker and Openshift.
- System Testing: Oversee QA for critical trading systems, including the Lightspeed platform.
Qualifications
We seek a senior leader with extensive experience in software automation. In-depth knowledge of the FIX protocol is essential, along with expert proficiency in Java and Python. Strong expertise in container orchestration (Openshift) and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI is required. Experience in financial services and trading systems is mandatory.
