Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer based in Bangalore to join our team for financial or commodity trading environments. The successful candidate will design, architect, and develop robust, well-tested solutions within the settlement domain to support new business activities.

• Collaborate with development teams on various components of the settlement workflow in Bangalore's dynamic market.
• Work closely with settlement operators and other business stakeholders to refine requirements and conduct analysis locally.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, estimation sessions, retrospectives, and design reviews within our team.
• Implement development best practices and maintain clear, up-to-date technical documentation for the settlement application.

• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 7 years of professional experience (Senior Level).
• Strong professional experience in Java development using frameworks such as Dropwizard or Spring.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and ability to work with SQL Server, including writing and analyzing complex SQL queries.
• Exposure to modern web UI frameworks such as React, Angular, or AngularJS (experience in full-stack development is a plus).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for scalable solutions.
• Prior experience or good understanding of the commodities trading industry preferred.
• A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for learning and experimenting with new technologies relevant to Bangalore's tech scene.
