Senior iOS Developer

YipitData is seeking a skilled Senior iOS Developer to join our team in Mumbai, Maharashtra, or remotely in India. This role is pivotal in building high-quality mobile applications, encompassing the design, development, and maintenance of advanced iOS apps using Swift and modern iOS frameworks. You will collaborate closely with product managers and backend developers to define and implement robust, scalable APIs, taking ownership of features and modules from technical design through to release. Responsibilities include conducting code reviews, upholding best practices in performance, security, and code quality, and continuously researching new iOS technologies to contribute to system architecture and design. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience, including 5+ years in professional iOS development with a strong command of Swift and Objective-C, a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, and a deep understanding of SwiftUI/UIKit, Core Animation, GCD, Networking, and memory management. Proficiency in architectural patterns like MVC, MVVM, or VIPER, along with experience in performance profiling, crash debugging, app optimization, and dependency management tools (CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager), is essential. Familiarity with third-party libraries, SDKs, App Store submission, and optional experience with email protocols, Linux environments, or hybrid app development using Flutter/React Native are considered advantageous. This is a fully-remote opportunity within India, with standard work hours from 8 am to 5 pm IST.
