EY is seeking a dynamic and innovative Senior Investment Accounting Implementation professional to join our team in Chennai, India. As a Senior Consultant in Investment Accounting, you will manage and deliver cutting-edge solutions for clients in the investment management industry. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for innovation, involving close collaboration with key stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extensive work in portfolio and fund accounting within the investment management industry.
• Contribute to accounting platform data migrations and implementations.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of security reference data and various asset classes (fixed income, equity, derivatives) across front, middle, and back office operations for both buy-side and sell-side businesses.
• Perform accounting data reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies during data migration, escalating issues as needed.
• Possess a high-level understanding of data models and architecture for financial platforms.
• Translate client requirements effectively for the technical team.
• Exhibit strong leadership and excellent client-facing skills.

Requirements:

• Experience or exposure to accounting software such as Aladdin BlackRock, Geneva, and SimCorp Dimension.
• MBA/CA/CFA/ACCA/CPA/B.tech/BE or equivalent qualification.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant accounting and data migration experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Techno-functional knowledge of core wealth/asset management platforms (Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Geneva).
• Solid business and accounting knowledge of investment-related products.
• Technical experience with relational data models and SQL queries.
• Proficiency in Oracle, MS SQL, or DB2 databases with strong data analytics skills.
• Advanced Excel and VBA skills.
