Full Job Description
Role Purpose: Senior GRC Analyst — Security Compliance Monitoring at METRO Global Solution Center IN. This role requires independent judgment, leadership in complex control monitoring, and mentorship of junior analysts. You will interpret controls, validate evidence, and coach team members to elevate quality standards. Own end-to-end compliance workstreams like supplier security reviews and AI governance, partnering with the Assistant Manager for SOP design and continuous improvement. Represent the offshore team in onshore meetings and support audit preparations as a senior point of contact.
- Lead complex control monitoring requiring interpretation, evidence validation, and stakeholder dialogue.
- Technical review of junior analysts’ work, providing constructive feedback.
- Own specific compliance workstreams (e.g., supplier security, policy exceptions, AI governance).
- Mentor junior analysts on framework interpretation, stakeholder communication, and control effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Manager on SOP design, quality reviews, and process improvements.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for onshore team meetings and audit preparations.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years in GRC, IT audit, or information security with progressive responsibility.
- Strong ISO/IEC 27001 (Annex A) expertise, interpreting controls contextually.
- Experience handling ambiguity and making judgment calls in compliance scenarios.
- Fluent English for stakeholder-ready analyses, briefings, and audit narratives.
- Relevant certification: ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CISA, CISM, or equivalent.
- Exposure to AI governance (ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF), NIS2, or DORA.
- Mentoring experience without formal line-management.
- Background in retail, wholesale, or large enterprises.
