Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Golang Developer to architect and deliver scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Go (Golang), distributed system design, and microservices architecture, with a strong ability to operate in agile, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and fault-tolerant microservices using Golang
Build and maintain RESTful APIs with strong emphasis on performance and reliability
Architect distributed systems ensuring high availability and resilience
Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with best practices
Integrate message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ) for asynchronous processing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver technical solutions
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
Contribute to system design discussions and technical decision-making
Ensure adherence to Agile/SCRUM delivery methodologies

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of experience in application development with Golang
Strong expertise in microservices architecture and REST API development
Solid understanding of distributed systems and system design principles
Proven ability to write optimized algorithms and efficient code
Hands-on experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and existing codebases
Bachelor’s degree (BCA or equivalent)

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher
Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Couchbase, or other NoSQL systems

Additional Information

This is a 3-month contractual role with extension potential. Candidates must be willing to work onsite 3 days per week.
