Senior Golang Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Golang Developer to architect and deliver scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Go (Golang), distributed system design, and microservices architecture, with a strong ability to operate in agile, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and fault-tolerant microservices using Golang
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs with strong emphasis on performance and reliability
• Architect distributed systems ensuring high availability and resilience
• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with best practices
• Integrate message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ) for asynchronous processing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
• Contribute to system design discussions and technical decision-making
• Ensure adherence to Agile/SCRUM delivery methodologies

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in application development with Golang
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture and REST API development
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and system design principles
• Proven ability to write optimized algorithms and efficient code
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and existing codebases
• Bachelor’s degree (BCA or equivalent)

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Couchbase, or other NoSQL systems

Additional Information

This is a 3-month contractual role with extension potential. Candidates must be willing to work onsite 3 days per week.
