About the Role

We seek a Senior GCP & Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) DevOps Engineer to design and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and OCI. This role is central to our mission of creating innovative products that inspire children through play.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Cloud Architecture: Design and maintain resilient infrastructures spanning GCP and OCI, ensuring high availability across global environments.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build reusable modules using Terraform to automate provisioning for Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Functions, Storage, SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and networking components like VPCs and Load Balancers. On OCI side, manage compute instances, object storage, databases, DevOps pipelines, containers, load balancers, FastConnect/VPNs.
• CI/CD Automation: Construct robust deployment pipelines using Google Cloud Build, OCI DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and Argo CD to streamline software delivery.
• Kubernetes & Containers: Operate GKE and OKE clusters for deploying containerized applications, handling networking (ingress), security (RBAC), autoscaling, and registry management via Artifact Registry and OCI Container Registry.
• Networking & Security: Configure complex cloud networks including VPC/VCN subnets, routing, DNS, NAT gateways, firewalls, and private connectivity. Enforce IAM policies using GCP Identity-Aware Proxy/Service Accounts and OCI dynamic groups/compartments to ensure least-privilege access.
• Observability & Reliability: Implement monitoring and logging with Google Cloud Operations Suite, OCI Monitoring/Logging, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/OpenSearch. Establish DR strategies for backup and business continuity.
• DevSecOps Excellence: Integrate security into the SDLC through vulnerability scanning (Cloud Guard), secrets management (Secret Manager/Vault), policy enforcement, and secure supply chain practices.

GCP Expertise: Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Functions, Build, Storage, SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, VPC, IAM, Load Balancing, DNS, Secret Manager, Artifact Registry, Operations Suite.
OCI Expertise: OKE, OCI Compute/Functions/Instances/Object Storage/Databases/Autonomous Database, DevOps, Container Registry, VCNSubnets/Routing/LB/DNS/Vault/Monitoring/Notifications/Connector Hub/Cloud Guard. Networking: FastConnect, Site-to-Site VPNs.
DevOps & Tools: Terraform (modules/state), Ansible/Bash/Python scripting, Docker, Kubernetes/Helm/GitOps practices using GitHub Actions/Jenkins/Argo CD.
Kubernetes Mastery: GKE/OKE administration, networking/RBAC/security/image management/autoscaling.
Skill Level:
- 6–10+ years in IT/DevOps engineering.
- 4–6+ years hands-on with at least one of GCP or OCI and demonstrated experience with the other platform.
- Strong practical background in multi-cloud/hybrid connectivity design.
