Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering technical project requirements, owning all aspects of application quality and performance, and translating business needs into technical specifications. You will lead the design of data ingestion and transformation systems, support the development team with technical plans and documentation, and communicate project updates to stakeholders. The role also involves running scrum and tech sessions.

• Gather technical project requirements and specifications from clients and internal stakeholders.
• Own all aspects of the application, including quality, performance testing, and production support.
• Translate business rules and stakeholder requirements into project specifications.
• Lead the design of data ingestion and transformation systems and processes.
• Support the development team by creating technical and architectural plans, generating documentation, and assembling presentation material.
• Engage directly with technical stakeholders to communicate project updates throughout the production lifecycle.
• Run all scrums and tech sessions.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Professional experience in a development role.
• Personal projects demonstrating an aptitude for engineering and product sense.
• Ability to learn new technologies and work outside of usual comfort zones.
• Experience starting projects from scratch and working within existing architectures.
• A desire to stay updated on the latest industry techniques and trends.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong experience with JavaScript & Node.js (preferred).
• Full stack experience with strong backend experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Proficient understanding of database architecture and performance.
• Proficient understanding of asynchronous, object-oriented, and functional programming design patterns.
• Experience working with AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS/Kinesis).
• Experience with other enterprise server-side languages like Java, Python, Ruby is a plus.
• Experience with React.js and React Native is a plus.
• Experience developing and scaling REST APIs for various platforms.
• Experience developing low latency, high availability applications.
