Senior Full Stack Engineer
Full Job Description
About Abridge
Abridge transforms healthcare delivery with generative AI. Our mission is clear: power deeper understanding in healthcare by processing millions of medical conversations monthly.
The Role
We are seeking a Senior Integrations Engineer to join our hyper-growth team! You will be instrumental in designing, building, and scaling the integrations that power our product. Collaborate with engineers, implementation specialists, support, and product managers to build real-time and batch data integrations with partners and clients.
What You'll Do
- Scale up business by designing, building, and supporting robust healthcare integrations without compromising security or privacy using REST-like APIs (FHIR), Smartlinks, and third-party standards.
- Collaborate closely with health system customers to deploy, troubleshoot, and support integrations while engaging with external stakeholders.
- Enhance existing systems for new functionality, performance, stability, quality, and security.
- Advocate for high code standards: improve documentation, share knowledge, and limit technical debt.
- Maintain deep user empathy with a patient-centric mindset across cross-functional teams (design, product, ML, infrastructure).
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years launching business-critical integrations with large enterprises.
- 2+ years of Cerner Integration experience (Hyperspace/Haiku/Rover) embedding and external apps.
- Experience integrating via FHIR APIs, Smartlinks, REST APIs, OAuth2.0, and mTLS.
- Excitement for our tech stack: NodeJS/TypeScript and Google Cloud Platform.
- A passion for healthcare integrations with autonomy in a fast-moving startup environment.
