Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview: The Senior Full Stack Engineer is a full-time remote position responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Superfan.ng's web and mobile application features from end to end. This role involves collaborating closely with product, design, and content teams to translate learning experiences and gamification concepts into scalable, performant, and secure software.
Day-to-day tasks include: implementing front-end interfaces (HTML/CSS), developing back-end APIs and services for Back-End Web Development, integrating data sources, optimizing application performance, and ensuring code quality through testing and reviews. The Senior Full Stack Engineer will also contribute to architectural decisions on cloud platforms using relational or NoSQL databases, mentor other engineers, and help improve development processes.
Key Qualifications: Strong skills in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive, accessible user interfaces; solid back-end expertise including API design and server-side performance optimization; proficiency in Full-Stack Development with experience owning features across the entire stack. Experience with modern web frameworks, Git version control, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines is required. A background in scalable cloud architecture is essential.
Preferred: Previous experience in edtech, gaming, or culturally focused products is a plus, as is familiarity with African languages or cultures.
