Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

The Senior Full Stack Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of Deel's platform. You will work on a wide range of technologies—from user-facing interfaces to server-side infrastructure—ensuring seamless integration across our global platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, responsive web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Express.
• Design and implement server-side APIs, data models, and business logic primarily with the NestJS framework.
• Create client-side function-based React components, hooks, stories, and tests.
• Create and optimize database schemas, queries, and interactions using Postgres.
• Build reusable and modular components on both front-end and back-end to promote code reusability and scalability.
• Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications.
• Stay updated with emerging web development trends and recommend improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of Full-Stack experience, with a focus on TypeScript development.
• Expertise in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications using React, Express, NestJS, Vite, Next.js, and Postgres.
• Able to thrive in a collaborative, remote-first work culture where teamwork is key.
• Possess independence to take ownership of projects while excelling within diverse teams.
• Communicate complex ideas with ease and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
