About the Role

The Senior Full Stack Engineer will lead design, development, modernization, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications for Optum's Agentic AI initiatives. You will build modern, AI-powered user experiences enabling interaction with conversational agents, decision-support tools, analytics, semantic search, and workflow-driven apps.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development: Design and maintain scalable applications using .NET Core, C#, Angular, React, REST APIs, microservices, and SQL Server. Create responsive web applications for operational users and translate requirements into production-ready features.
AI & Generative AI Integration: Develop experiences for conversational agents and GenAI services. Integrate with Azure OpenAI, LLMs, semantic search, and orchestration components to support prompt-driven interactions and intelligent automation.
Modern Front-End Engineering: Build reusable UI components using Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Ensure responsive experiences across devices while improving usability and accessibility.
API & Microservices Development: Design secure REST APIs and microservices with .NET Core/C#. Integrate enterprise platforms, optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and modernize legacy applications via service-based architecture.
Database Expertise: Manage SQL Server databases, Azure Databricks, stored procedures, and complex queries using Entity Framework Core. Optimize structures for scalability and security.
Azure Cloud & DevOps: Develop Azure Functions, maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps/GitHub, support serverless architectures, and apply secure configuration practices.
Analytics Enablement: Integrate reporting tools like Power BI for dashboards and visualizations. Deliver operational insights aligned with business workflows.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 5+ years of full-stack development experience with .NET Core, C#, Angular/React, REST APIs, SQL Server, and Azure services. Proven skills in Agile Scrum, application modernization, and cross-functional collaboration.
