Senior Full Stack Engineer

BitGo is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, India. This role is crucial for building and maintaining our core digital asset infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Develop robust APIs, libraries, and services for our wallet services, including hot and cold wallets, indexing, staking, and SDKs.
• Contribute to the management of BitGo's technical architecture.
• Collaborate with design and product managers to create new UIs and APIs for innovative initiatives.
• Build reusable and scalable code for complex business requirements.
• Communicate with business leaders to understand implementation needs and constraints.
• Mentor fellow engineers through code reviews, technical documentation, and promoting best practices.
• Provide maintenance and performance enhancements for existing applications.
• Take full ownership of functionality and scalability features from inception to deployment and integration.
• Expose and document functionality for UI, third-party developers, and internal/external tooling.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and Express.
• Experience with React/Next.js and staying current with frontend trends.
• Skilled in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis skills.
• Extensive experience with RESTful API design.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field from a reputable university.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of and strong interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
• Experience with Next.js.
• Experience working with design systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with Java/Kotlin or GoLang.
