About The Role:

The Enterprise Apps AI Center of Excellence (CoE) is a new, agile team focused on generating substantial value for Finance through Artificial Intelligence. We go beyond simple efficiency gains, concentrating on developing innovative AI solutions that unlock new capabilities and insights for the Enterprise Applications organization. Our mission is to transform business processes, enhance strategic decision-making, and drive significant value using advanced AI applications. This team will identify, analyze, develop, and deploy high-impact use cases, ultimately empowering enterprise business application users with cutting-edge AI for more strategic and effective operations.

As a Senior Engineer, you will lead the conceptualization, development, and deployment of impactful AI/ML solutions that revolutionize finance processes. You will be responsible for the entire AI solution lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to development, implementation, and ongoing support. This role includes leading and technically supporting a geographically diverse team located in the US and India.

Responsibilities include identifying and POC-ing efficiency opportunities in software development, software optimization/tech debt reduction, QA, UAT, Unit Testing, and Regression Testing.

What You'll Do:

• Gain hands-on experience developing, debugging, training, evaluating, deploying at scale, optimizing, and fine-tuning state-of-the-art AI models, particularly in NLP and Generative AI, using Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, and ML algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning). Utilize Gen AI frameworks like GPT-4, Llama, Claude, Gemini, Hugging Face, and LangChain.
• Leverage deep expertise in Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Conversational AI (Chatbots, IVA, AgentAssist), and NLP (LLMs, Transformers, RNNs, Semantic Search), including Prompt Engineering.
• Apply hands-on experience with AIOps, MLOps, and DataOps to build production-ready AI/ML pipelines using Kubeflow, MLFlow, and AutoML on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Utilize hands-on experience with AI-powered search (vector databases, semantic search) and Microservices development using Java, Python, Spring Boot, and NoSQL.
• Gain comprehensive experience with AI/ML advancements such as building Multimodal AI, advanced development with AutoML, Agentic AI, AI Integration, AI Cybersecurity, and AI-powered automation.
• Apply hands-on experience with data modeling and data processing using NLP techniques in Data Science to extract insights.
• Work with hands-on experience in data pipelines, data warehousing, and data governance for building and deploying ML models.
• Proactively research AI/ML advancements and industry trends, leading AI/ML & Data initiatives to identify business opportunities and critical AI use cases for delivering end-to-end AI/ML solutions in finance business applications.
• Articulate the potential ROI and benefits of proposed AI solutions.
• Collaborate with technology, product, and data teams to seamlessly integrate validated AI solutions into existing finance workflows, clearly communicating technical details.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
• Employ advanced statistical analysis and deep learning machine learning algorithms to address finance-related challenges and improve internal processes and strategies.

What You Bring:

• A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience driving data science and/or AI/ML use cases, with a primary focus in finance and accounting.
• A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and standard methodologies for coding, design, testing, and deployment.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or an equivalent quantitative field.
• Excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly analyze and resolve difficult technical issues in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience working with and presenting proposals to executives in a clear and compelling manner.
• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js) for building AI/ML solutions in finance applications. Exposure to integration platforms like Boomi is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills (required). Experience with SQL, Tableau, or other BI tools for data extraction and visualization is a plus.
