Senior Full Stack AI Engineer - Delhi

Chegg is looking for a talented Senior Full Stack AI Engineer to join a dedicated, cross-functional team in Delhi. You will play a pivotal role in developing innovative, AI-native learning experiences from inception to production. Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers in a dynamic, maker-driven environment where every team member directly contributes to product development. This role places a significant emphasis on practical Generative AI, both in the features you'll deliver and in your daily workflow. Leverage AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to enhance productivity while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered learning features.
• Experiment with and integrate new AI technologies.
• Build scalable, production-grade web applications in a cloud environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product strategy and execution.
• Implement robust testing and monitoring practices for production systems.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development, with expertise in React/Next.js, Node.js, and Python, preferably in high-scale environments.
• Proven experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• A strong understanding of Generative AI concepts and practical experience applying them to user-facing products.
• Proficiency in REST and GraphQL, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and modern web application architecture.
• Experience with testing methodologies (unit/integration tests), monitoring, and performance optimization for production systems.
• Excellent communication, product thinking, and a passion for advancing AI in online education.

Bonus Points:

• Familiarity with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), embeddings, evaluation strategies, and/or vector databases.
