Senior Frontend Engineer

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Athos Commerce (Work From Home), you will play a key role in building scalable and high-performance web applications for global ecommerce teams. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain frontend applications using React JS.
• Develop reusable, scalable UI components and frontend architecture for responsive interfaces.
• Manage application state efficiently using Redux in a remote environment.
• Translate UI/UX designs into accessible web experiences optimized for speed.
• Optimize frontend performance for scalability across devices.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and services globally.
• Debug and resolve complex frontend issues independently.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold high code quality standards remotely.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility worldwide.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in frontend or web application development (Senior Level).
• Strong hands-on experience with React JS and JavaScript ES6+.
• Solid expertise in Redux for state management.
• Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern responsive design patterns.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and frontend integration best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment (Work From Home).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building intuitive user experiences.
• Ownership, accountability, and attention to clean, maintainable code.
• Comfort working collaboratively with cross-functional teams across time zones.
