Senior Frontend Engineer

Moniepoint is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer with expertise in React to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust, functional software solutions for our web clients. You will leverage your experience with the React.js application framework to build high-quality software that aligns with user needs and business objectives.

While direct experience with React is essential, proficiency in similar JavaScript frameworks is also valued. You will collaborate closely with the Enterprise Architect to define software requirements and take a leading role in operational and technical projects. This position requires an independent and proactive individual with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, coupled with hands-on experience in software development and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect high-quality software solutions.
• Manage and execute tasks throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop efficient and clean code for tools and applications.
• Automate processes using appropriate tools and scripting.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and validation testing.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for product enhancements.
• Document development processes and monitor system performance.
• Ensure software stays current with the latest technological advancements.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Software Engineer.
• 5 years of experience with JavaScript and React.
• Demonstrated experience in software development, scripting, and project management.
• Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic) and automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with various operating systems including Linux, Mac OS, and Windows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
