Senior Frontend Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this full-time, onsite role, you will be instrumental in crafting memorable user experiences for our platform, which supports over 200,000 customers and thousands of daily live 1-on-1 yoga sessions globally. Your responsibilities will encompass real-time video, intelligent matching, global scheduling, and multi-currency payments, all delivered through a frontend you will own, evolve, and optimize.

You will be a key engineer leveraging these tools to ship faster, bring senior IC ownership to a high-growth product, and set the standard for frontend excellence.

What You'll Own

• End-to-end delivery of frontend modules, from requirements to production monitoring.
• Development and maintenance of a performant, reusable, well-documented React component library.
• Implementation of SSR/SSG architecture for SEO, load performance, and optimal first-paint experience.
• Frontend system design, including state management, data-fetching patterns, caching strategies, and API integration contracts.
• Performance ownership, utilizing tools like Lighthouse, React Profiler, and Web Vitals for continuous improvement.
• Ensuring accessibility compliance (WCAG) from the initial development stages.
• Maintaining CI/CD pipeline quality for efficient and reliable frontend releases.
• Mentoring fellow engineers through code reviews, pairing, and elevating team craft standards.
• Executing incremental refactors to reduce technical debt without hindering the product roadmap.
• Owning production incidents, including fast triage, clear root cause analysis, and reliable fixes.

What You Bring

The fundamentals:

• 4–6 years of frontend engineering experience, with a minimum of 4 years hands-on React.js experience in production.
• Deep fluency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proven experience with SSR/SSG implementation (e.g., Next.js) and a solid understanding of their use cases.
• Strong command of state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Context API, with the ability to choose the most appropriate one.
• Experience with data-fetching and caching tools like React Query or SWR.
• Proficiency with styling systems including TailwindCSS, styled-components, Emotion, or CSS Modules.
• Working knowledge of build and bundling tools like Webpack or Vite.
• A demonstrable track record of shipping reliable, performant, production-grade frontend systems.

• Contributions to open-source projects or public writing on frontend engineering or AI-assisted development.
• Background in consumer-facing or marketplace platforms at scale.
