Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript to design and build high-performance, scalable web applications. You will collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences while upholding high engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Build reusable, modular, and well-tested UI components.
• Implement SSR, SSG, and ISR using Next.js for optimal performance and SEO.
• Ensure application performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
• Work in an Agile environment with continuous integration and delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Extensive hands-on experience with React.
• Solid experience with Next.js, including SSR, SSG, routing, and performance optimization.
• Experience with modern state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern styling approaches (CSS Modules, Tailwind, Styled Components, etc.).
• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.
• Knowledge of Git and modern CI/CD practices.

Good to Have

• Experience with micro-frontend architecture.
• Exposure to GraphQL.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience in product-based or consultancy-driven environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, with AWS preferred.
• Understanding of performance monitoring and optimization tools.
