Senior Front End Developer

Project Description

We are seeking an experienced Front End Developer proficient in Angular and Java (Java 17+) to design, build, and maintain a low-latency platform with strict reliability and auditability requirements. You will own end-to-end delivery from design through production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Front-End solutions using Angular and Java (Core Java 17+).
• Model and optimize User Experience and Data user flow for maximum efficiency.
• Build resilient, observable services on AWS infrastructure including ECS/EKS/Lambda, S3, RDS/Aurora, MSK/Kinesis, and IAM.
• Implement strong CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions and leverage AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery without compromising quality.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance by implementing circuit breakers, retries, idempotency, and backpressure patterns.
• Implement robust security and compliance controls including authz/authn, secrets management, IAM policies, and encryption at rest/in transit.
• Take ownership of production operations including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning using tools like OpenTelemetry or Prometheus/Grafana.

Skills - Must Have

• 7+ years of professional front-end Angular experience with Java (Core Java).
• Exposure to Python for tooling and automation.
• Proven expertise with PostgreSQL, including indexing strategies, query tuning (EXPLAIN/ANALYZE), transactions, locking, and isolation levels.
• Hands-on AWS experience deploying production services such as ECS/EKS/Lambda, RDS/Aurora, S3, SQS/SNS/MSK/Kinesis, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Solid API design skills in REST/gRPC with versioning, pagination, and backward compatibility support.
• Production-grade observability experience including logs, metrics, tracing using OpenTelemetry or similar stacks.
• CICD expertise with GitHub Actions covering branching strategies like GitFlow or trunk-based development.
• Practical use of AI coding assistants to boost productivity while maintaining code quality standards.
• Experience building fault-tolerant distributed systems utilizing patterns such as circuit breakers, bulkheads, rate limiting.
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Capital Markets, trading, market data, or financial analytics domains.
• Event streaming & messaging knowledge including Kafka, MSK, Kinesis, RabbitMQ.
• Data modeling for auditable workflows and multi-party approval processes.
