Role Summary

We are hiring for the position of Senior Front-end Developer. This role involves leading the building of fast, responsive, and accessible web interfaces. You will set direction and standards within your team, mentor colleagues, and be accountable for outcomes across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Set direction and quality standards for translating design mockups into responsive, cross-browser user interfaces.
• Lead the integration of user interfaces with back-end APIs and manage application state.
• Owning the approach to writing, testing, and maintaining clean, reusable front-end code in version control systems like Git.
• Guiding the team on optimizing page performance and accessibility across various browsers and devices.
• Mentoring and coaching colleagues while reviewing complex work to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Accountability Level

The Senior Front-end Developer is accountable for results, sets direction, acts as a technical authority, and influences team decisions. This role requires the ability to evaluate tools, advise stakeholders on trade-offs, and drive excellence in front-end development practices.

Required Technical Skills (Very Proficient Level)

• Languages: HTML5, JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript basics
• Styling: CSS3, Sass/Less, Advanced CSS including Grid/Flexbox
• Frameworks & Libraries: React/Vue/Angular with state management (Redux/Vuex)
• APIs & Networking: RESTful APIs, GraphQL, AJAX, Fetch API
• Tools: Git, npm/Yarn, Webpack/Gulp, CI/CD pipelines
• Advanced Concepts: DOM manipulation, Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), Performance Optimization, Accessibility (WCAG)

Premium Skills Expert Level

• WebAssembly experience and implementation knowledge.

Educational Requirements & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT, OR equivalent practical experience of 9+ years. A proven track record of leading delivery, influencing decisions, and mentoring others is essential for this role.
