Senior Front-End Developer - Bengaluru, Karnataka
Wadhwani Foundation is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to join their team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role requires a skilled professional with a strong background in backend development and Node.js, focusing on building scalable, high-performance applications.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Node.js.
- 5-7 years of backend development experience with large-scale applications.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
- Deep understanding of Node.js, including its limitations and effective workarounds.
- Proficiency in designing and utilizing horizontally scalable backend services with NodeJS and Express.
- Expertise in performance tuning and the fundamental principles of building scalable applications.
- Experience with data modeling in Relational Databases (RDBMS) such as Postgres/MySQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Knowledge of current architecture trends, design patterns in the JavaScript/Node.js community, and an awareness of the trade-offs in building complex microservices architectures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams.
- Familiarity with streaming and messaging platforms like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and deploying Docker containers with orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
