As a Senior Front-end Developer in the Digital team at Palo Alto Networks in Bengaluru, India, you will be responsible for translating UI/UX designs into functional user interfaces, bridging the gap between design and technical implementation. You will ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, create responsive marketing landing pages and microsites for multi-language deployment, and build reusable code and libraries. Key areas of focus include performance optimization, accessibility, usability, and adherence to On-Page SEO principles. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and the QA team, and implement best practices in front-end architecture.

• Follow best practices for web programming, packaging, and deployment.

Qualifications

Your Experience

• A degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• 8 to 12 years of web front-end development experience in an enterprise environment.
• Profound knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Expert proficiency in UI layouts, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system.
• Ability to convert visual UX designs (PSD, Figma, Zeplin) into semantic, standard-compliant web properties.
• Experience building cross-browser and cross-device compatible pages adhering to W3C standards.
• Passion for responsive design and its consistent application across all devices.
• Capability to rapidly generate UI prototypes and constructively integrate feedback.
• Solid experience using complex REST APIs from the client-side.
• Significant experience troubleshooting with JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console.
• Strong bias for action and ability to operate independently.
• Strong communication and organization skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Relentless attention to detail.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS.
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools for minor adjustments.
• Good understanding of On-Page SEO principles.
• Exposure to Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines (Git, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React.
