The Opportunity: Marmot Team & Forward Deployed Engineering
As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you will work on Komodo's Labs team to build 'Marmot'—our AI-native product. The FDE team deploys these solutions into complex enterprise environments, including customer cloud infrastructure and strict compliance settings.
About the Role
You will own end-to-end delivery for technically demanding engagements—from architecture through deployment in a customer's cloud environment. This role involves writing production code, designing cloud-native patterns, building integrations (including MCP servers), and debugging issues across environments you do not fully control.
In Your First 90 Days
- Learn the Marmot platform end-to-end, including agent loops and deployment toolchains.
- Ship your first customer-facing deliverable (e.g., MCP server or agentic workflow) in a real environment.
