About This Role
Join the Digital Networks & OSS team as a Senior Executive-OSS Support Engineer. You will support the operation, maintenance and optimisation of critical telecommunications OSS solutions for enterprise customers across Vodafone markets.
Key responsibilities include managing Ciena, Infinera, Chronos, Infoblox Grid Master and Clavister InControl platforms; performing health checks and troubleshooting hardware/software to ensure high availability; resolving incidents via workarounds or corrective actions; deploying patches and upgrades through change management processes; supporting system integrators with EMS/NMS platform deployments across data centres; modifying software for performance improvements; collaborating on proactive service assurance initiatives.
Ideal candidates will hold a degree in IT/Telecoms with 2-5 years of OSS support experience, strong Unix shell scripting/SQL/Python skills, and knowledge of Oracle SQL, MySQL, SNMP, CORBA/SOAP/XML. Familiarity with AWS/GCP is preferred.
