
Senior ETL Developer
Full Job Description
Crowe is seeking an experienced Senior ETL Developer to join their Data Engineering team in Noida. This role is crucial for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL pipelines that extract, transform, and load data into their data warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ETL processes, technologies, and diverse data sources. As part of the Data Analytics team, you will contribute to firm-wide initiatives, ensuring an unparalleled client experience and promoting success through problem-solving and expert consulting.
Key responsibilities include identifying and mapping source data, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining ETL pipelines, extracting and loading data from various sources, collaborating with stakeholders to define data requirements, troubleshooting and debugging pipelines, and staying current with ETL best practices. You will also be responsible for formulating development estimates, developing test cases, presenting daily/weekly status updates, and articulating project details to clients and team members. Adaptability to different industries and the ability to quickly grasp client context are essential. Maintaining a professional presence and interacting with clients are also key aspects of this role.
Qualifications:
- Comfortable working 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM (IST)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in ETL development
- Hands-on experience with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Financial Audits, or Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and compliance requirements
- Previous consulting experience or experience working with external clients
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and technologies
- Experience with diverse data sources (relational databases, flat files, web APIs)
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or another programming language
- Experience with data warehouse technologies (Azure, AWS, Snowflake)
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/traditional project management principles
- Technical background with understanding of enterprise solutions
- High-level knowledge of BI architecture or data warehousing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables, clients, and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Certifications:
- BI certifications (ETL tools, visualization tools, cloud architectures)
- CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner)
