Senior Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and scale multiple engineering teams, comprising over 30 individuals. This includes hiring, mentoring, and developing strong individual contributors and future leaders, while fostering a culture of ownership and psychological safety.
• Take full ownership of the delivery for the Core CLM product, ensuring predictable execution, high quality, and velocity. Make informed trade-offs between speed and technical excellence.
• Provide comprehensive technical and architectural oversight. Collaborate with senior engineers to build scalable, secure, and reliable systems, while actively working to reduce technical debt.
• Work closely with product, design, QA, and customer success teams to translate strategic objectives into customer-centric outcomes.
• Establish robust engineering processes, define key metrics, and drive operational excellence across delivery, reliability, and developer productivity.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in a leadership role managing large, multi-team engineering organizations of 20+ engineers.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products within fast-growing companies.
• A strong, hands-on understanding of backend systems, APIs, databases, and cloud-native architectures.
• Extensive experience with agile development methodologies, delivery ownership, and effective engineering execution.
• Exceptional people leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in developing enterprise-level or workflow-intensive products.
• Prior exposure to scale-up or high-growth startup environments.
• Familiarity with systems governed by compliance, security, or data privacy regulations.
