Senior Engineering Manager

As Senior Engineering Manager - AI, you will lead three critical teams: AI, Backend, and Infrastructure. You are responsible for setting technical direction, cultivating engineering leaders, and ensuring our systems scale effectively as product complexity grows.

• Architect and build multi-agent systems that deliver tangible business value. Implement stateless agents with durable execution to ensure robust workflows that can resume or hand off seamlessly without data loss.
• Scales the core backend architecture to handle growing traffic, product surface area, and country-specific complexity while maintaining low latency (p99).
• Enhance infrastructure and developer velocity through advanced deployment systems, observability tools, and automation. Empower product teams to ship quickly using golden paths rather than gatekeeping.
• Leverage platform engineering and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to reduce operational toil and build self-managing systems.
• Grow the engineering organization by hiring exceptional talent and developing managers into leaders who uphold a high technical bar regardless of headcount growth.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years leading multiple teams or managing senior engineers in high-growth environments.
• Demonstrated experience shipping multi-agent systems to production users. You must be able to discuss evals, regression detection, failure containment strategies, and cost optimization concretely.
• Deep expertise building on durable execution platforms such as Temporal, Restate, Cadence, or custom solutions to solve state management challenges for long-running workflows.
• Proven track record working with developer platforms, AI infrastructure, automation systems, or large-scale data/signals platforms.
• A strong history of hiring, coaching, and growing engineers into leaders who embody ownership and high execution standards.
