Senior Engineer Software

Job Summary

We are seeking a Test Engineer to perform validation/verification of our Advanced Monitoring and Control Software for Pune, India. This role requires technical expertise in testing distributed control system supervisors, including subsystems for user interfaces, databases, security conformance, and network communications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering groups, team leads, and product management to ensure software meets requirements.
• Create comprehensive test plans, cases, and reports based on product needs.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug interactions between test software and products.
• Develop environments for devices under test (DUT).
• Document technical issues/solutions and provide detailed bug reports with reproduction steps to the development team.
• Suggest improvements and report project status/activities to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, EE, or CE (or equivalent).
• +3 years of software testing experience.
• Strong skills in UI testing, test automation, requirements review, and network protocols.
• Proficiency with REST API testing (Postman), Git source control, Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server for query authoring is preferred.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking tools like Wireshark is a plus.
• Experience with Modbus, BACnet, or SNMP protocols is highly valued.
