Your Impact: Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed Line diagrams (SLD), schematics for line/transformer/SVC/capacitor/busbark protection, panel general arrangements, BOQs, wiring interfaces, and interconnection schedules.
• Develop relay assembled forms, AC/DC auxiliary schematics, and perform setting calculations for various protection schemes.
• Leverage hands-on experience with numerical relays (SIEMENS, ABB, GE) including IEC61850 configurations for digital substations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, MS Office, and design tools like DIGSI 5, PCM600, Ener vista.
• Communicate confidently with clients (internal/external), manage technical relationships, resolve queries, and ensure project delivery meets quality standards and timelines.
• Collaborate with team leads, engineers, DPEs, PMs, and GID counterparts to deliver projects on time/budget while adhering to HSEC and quality protocols.

About You: Requirements

• Education: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years specifically in protection & control (Substation experience up to 400kV/765kV is a plus).
• Skills:
• Familiarity with IEC 61850 and numerical relays.
• Experience designing medium/high voltage substations, including renewables (Solar/Wind/Battery storage).
• Strong understanding of international standards and local grid codes.
• Excellent technical report writing, presentation, and networking skills.
• Ability to work independently or within teams on challenging workloads with short notice.
• Preferred: Experience in Python programming, ETAP, digital substation design, relay setting/configuration, and Australia/New Zealand project exposure.
