About the Role
Join Jacobs as a Senior Engineer - Protection & Control to solve critical problems for resilient environments and operational advancement.
Your Impact
- Create Key Line diagrams (Protection SLD), schematic drawings, panel general arrangements, BOQs, wiring diagrams, interface drawings, and interconnection schedules.
- Perform relay setting calculations for various protection schemes including IEC61850 configurations for digital substations.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with numerical relays (SIEMENS, ABB, GE) on projects potentially in Australia/New Zealand or India.
About You
Required:
- BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech Electrical qualification with a minimum of 8 years' experience in protection & control.
- Familiarity with IEC 61850, numerical relays, and high voltage substation design (up to 400/765kV).
- Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, DIGSI 5, PCM600, Ener vista.
Preferred
- Experience with Python programming and ETAP.
- Familiarity with renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, Battery storage).
- Digital substation design experience.
