Senior Engineer II System Instrumentation - Pune, India
Emerson Climate Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer II for System Instrumentation in Pune, India. This permanent full-time role involves developing techno-commercial proposals and managing project orders for Rosemount business, focusing on field instrumentation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage techno-commercial proposals for field instrumentation.
- Execute project orders for the Rosemount business.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for Rosemount products.
- Select suitable instruments based on RFQs and detail specifications.
- Design instrumentation solutions tailored to specific applications.
- Support Emerson Sales Offices for efficient and effective project execution.
- Prepare and submit post-order documentation, addressing customer comments.
- Attend internal project execution meetings to align with customer requirements.
- Procure buyouts and coordinate with vendors.
- Ensure project schedules are met.
- Maintain logs of key metrics for projects and proposals.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of core instrumentation experience in Process Industry, EPC, or OEM companies.
- Clear understanding of basic working principles for Pressure, Temperature, DP Flow, Level meters, Radar Type Level meters, and Flame and Gas monitoring Systems.
- Familiarity with instrument installation and calibration.
- Knowledge of Instrument Data Sheets, Specifications, International Standards for Hazardous Areas, Flammable Areas, and Ingress Protection Codes.
- Ability to select suitable instrument types and models based on customer specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); MS Projects familiarity is a plus.
- Preference for candidates with knowledge of post-order documentation.
- BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering from a reputed institute. Post Graduation (ME, M.Tech) is also considered.
