About the Role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Sage, you will contribute and lead in the design, development, and delivery of features for a high-quality SaaS solution that exceeds customer expectations. You will work closely with product managers and designers to create scalable web applications.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development for scalable, web-based applications.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
Tech Stack & Core Competencies
- Languages: Strong TypeScript (strict), modern JavaScript (ES Modules, async).
- Frontend Frameworks: Deep React experience (hooks, composition); React 19 / React Compiler preferred.
- Styling: Tailwind CSS, MUI (Material UI), styled-components/Emotion; working with design tokens.
Build & Tooling
- Modern build tools: Vite/Webpack/Rollup; Nx monorepo experience plus.
Data Management
- State management via Redux Toolkit, XState, TanStack Query; RxJS reactive streams.
- REST APIs, JWT/OAuth2 auth, robust error handling.
Performance & Data Grids
- Complex grids (ag-Grid Enterprise/TanStack Table) with virtualization and custom renderers.
Accessibility & Internationalization
- WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA compliance; ARIA patterns.
Testing & Quality
- Vitest/Jest, MSW API mocking, Playwright E2E testing.
AI Tooling
- Experience with GitHub Copilot/Cursor to accelerate development.
Nice to Haves
- Web Crypto/AES-GCM encryption knowledge.
