About the Role

Azcom Info is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join their Core Network development team. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality, optimized software for 5G/LTE Core Networks. You will be instrumental in the design, development, and verification of critical protocols such as S1AP, NAS, GTP, and Diameter within core network (EPC) nodes, including gateways, MME, and HSS. As an individual contributor, you will actively participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), devising innovative solutions to complex technical challenges. This position also involves direct technical engagement with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute as an individual and potentially lead as a team leader throughout all SDLC phases in a product development setting.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of software engineering principles and relevant technical domains.
• Uphold design and coding best practices, ensuring adherence to applicable standards.
• Collaborate with customers to address system and feature design, as well as optimization-related issues.

Required Domain Expertise

• Proficiency in C++, Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, and Networking.
• Exceptional debugging skills, particularly with GDB and multithreaded applications.
• Familiarity with Linux system calls, Inter-Process Communication (IPC), Semaphores, and Mutexes.
• Experience with version management software such as CVS, SVN, Git, or ClearCase.
• Experience in Network Virtualization and Cloud Computing is considered a significant advantage.
