About the Job

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support high-quality applications using Apigee and Java. Lead technical analysis, specification, estimation, development, implementation, and support of software solutions.
• Work closely with digital technology teams to ensure solutions meet functional, technical, and user experience requirements.
• Proactively identify technical issues and recommend effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate existing products and solutions and identify practical opportunities for improvement. Drive improvements in development practices, technical standards, and documentation.
• Take ownership of maintaining and expanding development standards within the technical domain.
• Manage implementation activities, change control, and release planning.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Experience: 10+ years of software development experience with a strong programming background. Strong hands-on experience in Apigee and Java, JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript or equivalent technologies.
Cloud: GCP (preferred), AWS, Azure.
Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (GKE/AKS).
Messaging: GCP Pub/Sub, Kafka.
Databases: SQL and NoSQL including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis.
CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
Observability: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana.
